Click on Send and Receive, see when the sending address is, this may be not be the same as your mac It may be a case of the messages sent from one device to someone are not being defaulted sent from iMessage to check this:ģ.

If they are the same and still not syncing, simply log out of the accounts on both sign out in the preferences on Messages OS X and log out in Messages iOS and then reenter your details in both correctly. If they aren't - you can change the wrong one and this with fix your problem and have the messages resyncing again. Make sure that the Apple iD at the top of the screen matches address that was found in Step 4 of the first part and make sure they match up and are identical. Then go to Send and Receive and click thisĥ. They all have iMessage in the description below the addressĤ.
Look at all the accounts where the iMessaging description is/the accounts that are sending and receiving iMessages on your MacBook Air.
